Hon.Onwusibe Re-Affirms Continuity Agenda As He Hosts Otti Vanguard Leaders, Highlights Constituency Projects

The member representing Isiala Ngwa North and South Federal Constituency and Chairman House Committee on Financial Crimes, Honourable Ginger Onwusibe says the time has come for intelligent people to work together to re-strategize to ensure continuity of progress in Abia State.

Honourable Onwusibe disclosed this at his country home in Amapu Ntigha, Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area when he played host to the Board of Trustees Leader of the Dr. Alex Otti Vanguard Movement For Continuity, Dr. K.O Nwaigburu and other leaders of the pro-group.

The federal lawmaker who is also the traditional prime minister of Amapu Ntigha ancient kingdom, commended the doggedness of the founder of the movement in strengthening the support base of Governor Alex Otti and giving his followers a sense of belonging, describing him as a respected ally and result-oriented leader.

“Today, people are now proud to say they are from Abia, even my colleagues at the National Assembly when they rise to identify themselves, they will say, they come from the state of the best performing Governor in Nigeria which never happened before.” He said.

Honourable Onwusibe while enumerating some projects he executed in Isiala Ngwa North and South that were ready for commissioning including the Ahia Eke Okpuihie in Okporoahaba, a mini stadium, fully equipped cassava and palm oil processing factory, a fully equipped digital ICT as well as a modern health centre at Nsulu, pledge to incorporate the Alex Otti Vanguard Movement pro-group in Isiala Ngwa North and South in his empowerment and other activities.

“When, you came in here, you saw I was in a meeting with leaders of different pro-groups in Isiala Ngwa North and South that were recently empowered. Most of them reported huge economic gains they are receiving including one group that has up N1.4 million in their account, so that is what we have been doing to sustain our people. I know your coordinators in Isiala Ngwa North and South, we have worked closely before, so we are going to incorporate them into what we are doing so that your members in our constituency will also benefit” he added.

In his address earlier the General Manager of Abia State Debt Management Office and BOT leader of the pro-group, Dr. K.O Nwaigburu described Chief Onwusibe as a champion of responsive and effective representative and leader in Isiala Ngwa North and South based on his massive economic empowerment programmes, human capital interventions with the federal constituency and beyond while pledging his loyalty and support as well as the pro-group to his and Governor Alex Otti’s re-lection bids.

“We also commend your efforts in attracting federal government projects and interventions to our constituency. Your ability to engage relevant ministries, departments and agencies has resulted in the facilitation of developmental projects and federal presence in various communities. These efforts have contributed significantly to infrastructure development, community growth and improved living standards for our people”, he said.

According to Dr. Nwaigburu, the group believes that the continued presence of Hon. Onwusibe in the National Assembly will further enhance the development of Isiala Ngwa North and South Federal Constituency and provide greater opportunities for the people while thanking him for the audience and warm reception accorded them.

Also speaking, Chairman of the pro-group Chief Uche Nwogwugwu, General Secretary Dr. Fynboy Joseph, the state woman leader Mrs. Gloria Agomuo and Eze-Elect Darlington Chiemezielam, Dr Amara Eneogwe, commended Chief Onwusibe for his outstanding performance which has greatly complemented the efforts of Governor Alex Otti in the state and pledged to mobilize the people for his continuity as representative of the people of Isiala Ngwa North and South cone 2027.
